To help with planning before sign-ups open, here are some financial and logistics planning tips.

The registration fee for virtual attendees is $200USD with financial aid available for those with need.

Most speakers and workshops will be recorded (audio) and made available to attendees for free (or a 7th tradition donation of your choosing.)

After registering, attendees can access a forum where members may connect directly with one another to explore potential roommate arrangements. The IRC planning team does not coordinate or manage roommate matching; the forum is provided solely as a space for members to exchange information.

Note: The Conference Fantasy Committee will hold a pre-workshop from 9am to 6pm on Thursday, 20 Aug 2026. Please consider this when booking travel if you plan on joining.

The Baltimore site activities will begin at 12 noon (local time) on Friday, 21 August 2026. For those arriving early, there will be pre-convention opportunities.

The hotel’s per-night rate is $149 plus tax for single and double rooms. The convention registration fee is ~$400 with rates as low as $300 for those with financial need. 

The Baltimore registration fee includes the following meals:

• Lunch (Sat)
• 50th Anniversary Banquet (Sat)
• Lunch (Sun)
• Hotel guests also receive breakfast included in their rate.
