Volunteer Sign-Up

Speaker/Workshop Presenter volunteers should submit a proposal this link.

Speaker Host – Arrive at a session 15 minutes early and assist the speaker as needed. Introduce the speaker, serve as designated timekeeper, collect session information, including feedback forms, etc.

Tech Host – Arrive at livestreamed session 15 minutes early and ensure the livestream is up and running. Monitor the livestream chat for questions/feedback from online or remote participants and ask them as appropriate.

On-Site Registrar – Welcome convention-goers, sign them in, give them their name badge, conference program, and other information, assist with bookstore sales as needed.

Tech Leads – Assist with technical issues where needed (Pro-level IT experience needed!)

Local Off-Site Lodging Options

• Arrangements to extend your stay should be made directly with the venue.

• Cancellation of booking must be made at least 48 hours before the event to secure repayment of fees.

Keeping in mind any related triggers or safety issues, please carefully choose who you can share a sleeping room with (separate beds)
The IRC planning team does not coordinate or manage roommate matching; the forum is provided solely as a space for members to exchange information.

How will you get to the Castletown venue?

There are major international car rental companies located on premise at both the Dublin (DUB) and Shannon (SNN) airports – Castletown is 1 hour 20 minutes by car from either airport on a tolled highway

To ensure shuttle service is scheduled, do you agree to email irc@slaaireland.org with your full flight details no later than 15 July.

Once SLAA Ireland receives your flight information, our shuttle coordinator will reply to your email to confirm pick-up, meeting location etc.

When you check-out below, your total amount due will be converted from Euros to United States Dollars as we are using a U.S.-based credit card processor.
